Roasted Onion Chevre Spread
Yield 1 cup.
8 ounces Chevre (Spreadable Goat Curd)
2 tablespoons toasted onion flakes
1 teaspoon fresh Italian flat parsley, minced
1 teaspoon McCormick Montreal seasoning
1 tablespoon fresh or dried chives
½ teaspoon beef base or bouillon (dry)
½ teaspoon tomato paste
coarsely ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients; allow spread to sit for at least 2 hours before using, so flavors will blend.
Can be used as sandwich spread or dip.
Can also be thinned with ½ cup buttermilk for salad dressing.
